Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 411data.io and the 411data agent API (the "Service"). By minting an agent bearer or making paid API calls, you agree to these Terms.

Service description

411data provides agent-native lead and business-data enrichment: reverse phone lookup, person enrichment, LLM web-search enrichment, agentic lead-session orchestration, async enrich jobs, and related API surfaces documented at /developers.

Billing and payment

• Virtual USD first: every paid call debits your virtual USD balance first. Your linked wallet is charged via x402 only when virtual balance is exhausted.
• Bill-on-match: enrichment charges on attempt; no-match or empty results are auto-credited where applicable. We never invent vendor data.
• x402 settlement: when virtual balance is insufficient, paid routes return a 402 envelope with an x402 payment requirement. Settlement uses USDC on Base mainnet. See /x402 and /pricing.
• Prepay: you may add virtual balance via USDC deposit on Base. See /cookbook/prepay_deposits.
• No refunds on recovery fees: wallet recovery (/connect?action=recover) includes a non-refundable $1 USDC fee on Base.

Agent bearer tokens

• The server stores only sha256(bearer), never the raw token.
• Your bearer is shown once at first mint. Save it securely. Limited recovery options exist — see /about.
• You are responsible for all usage authenticated with your bearer or scoped usage keys you create.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse rate limits, quotas, or bot-defense layers
• Attempt to access data or systems outside documented API surfaces
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights
• Resell or redistribute raw vendor data in violation of upstream vendor terms

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse without notice.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is. Enrichment results depend on third-party data sources and may be incomplete or stale. We do not guarantee match rates, accuracy, or availability.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material billing changes will be reflected in /pricing and discovery metadata.
